GRAND CRU FURSTENTUM

vin alsace furstentum

The Furstentum is mentionned in 1330 in the inventory of vineyards belonging to the Convent of Basle.

The brown calcareous soil has a pebbly structure, skeletal and filtering, with outcrops of bedrock.
The steep (37%) slope optimises exposure to the sun, on a soil which accumulates both heat and moisture. Conditions are ideal for producing exceptional wines.

Our Pinot Gris has a great finesse, it is a  rich and complex wine , fresh and with remarkably powerful aromas.
