First Grand Cru classified in 1975 , renowned since the 15th Century, the Schlossberg is in an altitude of 280 to 400 metres. The steepness of the slope means that the Schlossberg must be cultivated in terraces.
South exposed, granitic soil very rich on  mineral elements.

Providing from old vines  situated in the middle of the  hill, our Riesling is fine, with  a richly floral bouquet, delicate and distinguished, fresh and mineral.
