GROUND : clay –limestone, south exposition, very hot

 

GRAPE VARIETY : 50 % Gewurztraminer 50 %, 50 % Pinot Gris

 

WINE-HARVEST   : by hand 

 

WINE MAKING : long pressing during 3 to 6 hours, long fermentation : 3 to 4 months with natural yeasts,  maturing on the fine lees during 10 months.

 

BOTTLE AGEING : 5 to 10 years.

 

WINE TASTING :

intense, complex and spicy nose with  fine exotic fruits, smoked, rich and fleshy mouth, well-balanced, racy and nice persistency. A gastronomic style.
