photo-grand-cru-mambourg.jpg (90 KB)History reveals that Mambourg was already famous for its wines in early 783. The wines of "Sigoltesberg" (the present-day Mambourg) were already celebrated. Many convents and the nobility owned vineyards here and made the famous.

Situated in Sigolsheim, clayey-calcareous soil, south exposed, steep slopes, it is one of the most advanced Grand Cru in Alsace.

Our Gewurztraminer is powerful, concentrated, whitout being to heavy. Exotic and spicy taste.

Excellent terroir for sweet wines.
